Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - Psychologist, Division of Adult Psychosocial Oncology

The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Division of Adult Psychosocial Oncology is continuing to expand and seeks academic psychologists for faculty positions in the Department of Psychosocial Oncology and Palliative Care. The department has a tradition of pioneering psychosocial care, educational programs, and research. The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a major teaching site for the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Psychiatry Residency Training Program. Successful candidates will be skilled at complex diagnostic assessment, collaboration with other medical and behavioral health providers, and psychopharmacologic management and/or focused psychotherapy. Inpatient and/or outpatient consult-liaison experience is preferred. Available positions include ambulatory care and inpatient consults. Research, scholarship, and the abilities to inspire trainees and participate in care innovation are highly desirable. Faculty appointments will be at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level at Harvard Medical School with clinical privileges at both the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Salary, benefits and compensation will be consistent with experience and hospital policies.
