Translational Behavioral Medicine Implements COVID-19 Rapid Response Review
Suzanne Miller, PhD, Editor-in-Chief
In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and the important role that behavioral medicine can and will play, Translational Behavioral Medicine: Practice, Policy, Research has created a COVID-19 Rapid Response Review process for the near future. Manuscripts relating to the pandemic will receive a 7-7-7 rapid review: 7 days for the initial peer review; 7 days for author revisions (if that is the editorial decision); and 7 days for re-review by the original reviewers. Once an article is accepted, it is published online in “Advance Access” within a matter of days. We will accept both full empirical articles and brief reports on COVID-19- related topics. All articles accepted under this review process will be made open access.
Manuscripts should be sent through the regular submission process as specified, with online submissions sent via Editorial Manager. Please indicate in your cover letter that the manuscript should be considered for COVID-19 Rapid Response Review.
