Field Day Frenzy Activities
Trap Yoga - led by SBM member, Dr. Keri Kirk
-
Founded by Brandon Copeland, "Trap Yoga is a style of power yoga that is set to trap music (high energy rap music by southern rap artists). The style offers a physical challenge that mirrors the intensity of the music being played. The instructors still moves through traditional flows, but add components to enhance community among the members of the class. It was originally designed to be inclusive of Black people in yoga communities, but has evolved to enhance inclusion of many different groups who may not have seen themselves practicing yoga, different body types, and different fitness levels."
